I’ve always been a creative at heart, but for the last few years, I was building my career in a different space — one that taught me a lot about entrepreneurship, communication, and vision. When I was laid off and relocated from Nashville to Chicago, I figured it was time to finally follow the part of me that had always wanted to create something more personal.

Casa Valente is a micro pottery studio inside The Digs (West Town, Chicago). It’s a quiet, cozy space where I host private sessions, make small-batch ceramics, and curate handmade and vintage goods. Everything is made or chosen with care — nothing here is mass-produced, and nothing is rushed.

This little studio is just the beginning. One day, I’d love to grow Casa Valente into a full creative space — a neighborhood spot with classes, a coffee cart, and a retail corner full of beautiful, useful things. A place where people come to make, connect, and linger.
